Settle has a long history, much of which is preserved in its layout and buildings. This mainly outdoor event will start by considering its chronological development before embarking on a walking ‘expedition’ around the town identifying buildings of particular historical, architectural or social history.  The introductory part of the event will be held indoors in the Friends Meeting House.

Date: Wednesday 17th June 2020

Time: 10.30am – 1.30pm

Cost: £10.00

Booking: Please contact Sophie Balderson on 015242 51002, email info@storiesinstone.org.uko r visit www.storiesinstone.org

Further Information: The walking tour will be entirely on hard surfaced roads and paths so boots are not required, but participants should come prepared for whatever the weather throws at us. Upper Settle, by definition, is uphill so there will be some short ascents.
